   Italic stays static at a single weight: the variable italic is 60,408 B
   across both subsets against 23,284 B for the one 400 face actually used, so
   variable would buy weights nothing asks for at +37,124 B.

   latin and latin-ext are the only subsets this family ships. latin-ext is
   kept for non-ASCII characters in USER DATA (names from across Europe), not
   for Albanian — ë Ë ç Ç all sit inside latin's U+0000-00FF range.

   DM Sans has PROPORTIONAL FIGURES and no `tnum` feature, so numeric columns
   line up by right-alignment, not by font-variant-numeric. See style.css §1.
